Exhibits
My work was exhibited at the Fernbank Museum of Science in Atlanta as part of a group show entitled "Selections". The show accompanied a travelling exhibit on Darwin's life and work. I included two sets of pieces in the show; a grouping on interspecies interactions in the marine tidal zone of Northern California, and a second set illustrating repetitive structures in an assortment of species found in the Piedmont region of Northern Georgia. The show ran from September through December of 2011.Trees of the Piedmont
A set of paintings featuring leaves, fruits, and flowers of trees native to the Georgia Piedmont was commissioned by the Atlanta Tree Conservation Commission in 2008 for use on their website and in publications. I am always happy to paint on commission. This particular piece was commissioned by my mother-in-law's new husband who wanted to celebrate the anniversary of their first date. How romantic!Weddings
I enjoy painting custom images for wedding invitations and thank you notes. This particular image is of the flowers gracing the tables at a wedding last fall.
